Below you will find information and links to resources that will help you  with the research process.

Off-Campus Access, Logins, Passwords, and ID#s

When accessing resources through the campus wifi or off-campus, a login screen will display. To login:

Students: use your Student Portal login and password

Faculty and staff: use your network login and password

 

To request items from another library, you will be asked to enter your ID#.

Students: use your student ID# + the last 4 digits of your SSN

Faculty and staff: use your network login without the k

 

When requesting items through OhioLINK, you will be asked to select your institution.

Select: Wright State University

 

Pick-up Materials at Ollie Davis Bldg.

OTD students may have library materials sent to the Ollie Davis Building.

When requesting an item through either the local or OhioLINK catalog, select option P. Ollie Davis Bldg. as your pickup location.

Note:  Items being sent to the Ollie Davis Building must be checked out to the patron at the Kettering College Library and will then be sent by courier to the Ollie Davis Building.  The patron assumes financial responsibility for the item from the time it is checked out until the time it is checked in at Kettering College.

Items with a status of Campus Use cannot be requested for delivery to the Ollie Davis Building.

Kettering Health has an account with FedEx/Kinko in Centerville (1189 Miamisburg Centerville Rd, Centerville, OH 45459).  Individuals presenting a Kettering ID badge can get a discount on the printing of their poster.

Preditory journals and conferences present themselves as legitimate venues for sharing scholarly research but seek primarily to profit from the fees they charge while failing to provide rigorous evalution and other services traditionally associated with sholarly dissemination of information.
