Library Pandemic Policies
To best provide for the well-being of all visitors to the Kettering College Library during the pandemic, visitors are asked to:
- Wear a mask at all times in all locations in the library
- Maintain proper social distancing if eating in the library and put your mask back on when finished eating
- Drink beverages with a straw
- Clean any surfaces you touch with provided disinfectant wipes
- Disinfect hands before and after use of Printer/Copier and computer equipment
- Practice social distancing as noted in seating arrangements, at front desk, and the copier/printer – please do not rearrange the furniture or signs
- If pulling items from the stacks:
- first clean hands with hand santitizer
- only touch the item(s) you want to check out.
- If you decide to not check out a pulled item, please leave it on the provided designated shelving carts for quarantining
- Course reserve books, headphones, and pillows will not be available for check out due to the challenges of quarantining/disinfecting them
